The Berri Library & Information Centre now has a 3D printer operating in the library.
We have purchased a Flashforge Dreamer dual extruder printer and have had it operating near our circulation desk for a few weeks now. We have printed a wide variety of interesting objects and the Minecraft Creeper and Yoda have been our most popular! Come on in and have a look at some of the things we have made! We plan to make the printer available for customers to use (after they attend a brief training session on the do’s and don’ts for this model). In the coming weeks we will be offering some ‘come n try’ sessions in using the 3D printer. Speak to a staff member if you are interested. Please check out the Berri Library Facebook post on the 3D printer and share with your friends!

I would love to speak with someone about the possibility of building/printing a 3d model of the Loveday Internment Camp for use as part of the display at the Barmera VIC

Fantastic – the 3D Printer is there for community use and we would be happy to show you how to correctly use it! We have another FREE printer training session set for the 15th December and you are welcome to come along…
